Mango Sensation

19 weeks

Ben is the size of a mango!  Yummy!  I can't believe how big he is now.  He is 6 inches long and just about 8 ounces.  I can really feel him flipping around and kicking me.  I can only imagine how much fun he is having just bouncing around, swimming in all of the wonderful baby juices... ewww yukky! Movement means he is growing well.  I can't wait till the next appointment on December 26th to see another sonogram. I can't wait to see everything be more developed.  Maybe we can see facial features!  Fingers crossed.  I sure hope he looks exactly like his daddy.  That would just make my heart melt.  I love all of my guys.  Tyler, Choppy and now Mr. Ben.

Tyler and I had dinner at Original Joe's tonight.  He really wanted to shoot pool.  Hey... if he's going to buy me a burger, I'll play as many rounds of pool he wants.  :)  I actually did very well... kinda.  I wonder if little Ben will be as good as his daddy in sports.  The little Mr. surely liked being there tonight.  He kicked me when I was shooting and getting lessons.  It could've also been the Sprite that I HAD to have!  Yum.

Tyler cleaning the shower

More prep for the baby... Tyler is cleaning the shower tonight.  I usually do that, but I don't want the fumes to harm Mr. Ben.  I love being preggers.  LESS CHORES!  Hmmm what other chore could be too "dangerous" for me to handle.  This shouldn't be to hard.  :)

A little blurry.  Pic taken by one of my 3rd graders.

I got a little Steelers Jammie in my school's Secret Santa gift exchange.  I LOVE it!  I looked at it all day.  This time next year, I'm going to have to make sure Ben's jammies are washed for game days.  My Secret Santa must be someone I'm very close with at school.  So far, I've received a lil gift for me and a lil gift for Benny.  That is just so creative and thoughtful!  I love the stationary and the santa pen so much!  Who doesn't love school/office supplies?!  I'm the #1 fan!

Bell Pepper Benny Update - 18 weeks

Santa Claus is coming to your home!  Tyler and I went around to all of our friends' homes to have everyone pick their Secret Santa.  It was so much fun.  We left home at 6:30pm and didn't get home until 1am.  We stopped for dinner with some folks and had social hour with the others.  Can't wait till our xmas party.

We have a new plan.  Every weekend, we choose one project to tackle before little Benny comes.  Our first project was cleaning out the bonus room.  It's such a cute space for a little boy.  We are going to go with a nautical theme in the room ~ anchors, boats, ocean maps, compasses, whales, etc...  Our color scheme will be navy blue, baby blue, sandy tan, and brown.  I really think Mr. Ben will like it!  I'm already in love with it.  Melissa (my little sister) found a huge anchor that we can hang in his room.  It's so perfect!

18 weeks

It was so crazy how the "bump" showed up overnight.  LITERALLY!  In the beginning, I was bloated.  Then it seemed like every time I ate, my stomach grew 5 inches.  It was nothing like what Tyler and I noticed overnight in week 16.  My stomach felt as hard as a rock.  In the next couple of days my stomach started to stick out!  It was so crazy!  I love it.

Every morning, both Tyler and I feel my belly.  It gets a little harder everyday.  Now I truly have a little baby bump.  I call it my Benny Bump.  I love it so much!

18 weeks

At 17 weeks I was having syrup cravings.  All I wanted to eat was pancakes and french toast.  Of course Tyler makes me and Benny whatever we want.  One night, we were watching Moon Shiners and I was super hungry.  Tyler made me a waffle and drew the letter B for Ben with syrup in the waffle.  It was just too sweet!  I had a whole bottled water with the waffle.  After about 5 minutes I felt something funny in my tummy.  People described the feeling like butterflies in your belly, but when I felt Benny move, it felt like a little baby moving.  He was flailing his arms and legs.  It was so cool!  I was just speechless.  This is the most wonderful experience ever.  Women are so lucky to get to carry their babies.  I can't wait to meet my little active boy.
