Daniel - Maternity Pics in Pittsburgh

We both took a vacation day to go to Pittsburgh for the day.  Benjamin really couldn't handle a 3 hour car ride so we decided to keep it a regular "school day" for him.  We dropped him off at 7:30am and headed to our favorite city, correction, Tyler's favorite city.  ha!  We had a wonderful "date day".  It was so nice to hold hands, walk around the stadium taking pics, and have lunch with my guy.  I look forward to doing this every year with our kiddos.

Family of 4

We are officially a family of four.  It will stay just FOUR too!  Tyler and I talk about how complete we feel now.  It's like Danny was always meant to be the final member of our crazy little family.  It's like we always knew he was going to be one of us, Burnies.  "Burnies" is a nickname given to us by Miss Ashley, Ben's teacher.  She's the BEST, by the way!

Ben and Danny are two of the most perfect little boys in the whole wide world.

Ben is 18 months now and learning new words every day.  The newest words are, "Momma" and "Baby".  It is just the most heavenly thing to finally hear him say, "Momma".  I just love it so much.  I can't believe it took 18 months though!!  Tyler heard Ben say, "Dadney" for at least 4 months now.  It's finally my turn and I couldn't be more proud of my little learning sponge.  He loves his little brother already and learned how to say, "Baby"almost immediately.  It will be really cute to see if he calls Danny, "Baby" for the rest of his life.  I think that's super cute.  Although, Danny might not like it when they are in high school.  Hahaha!

Thanksgiving 2014 - two kids in tow this year... lol.  Last year we took 1 new kid and this year we brought another new kid.  Life is funny.

Daniel 1 month

11.8 pounds
22.5 inches long

He is such a little sweetheart.  He barely ever cries.  We have ourselves such a cool, calm, sweet new baby boy.  Benjamin is doing such a great job with having a little brother.  He pets Daniel very gently and loves giving him kisses.  He also helps me hold Danny when I have both of them in my arms.  I couldn't be more happier with my little boys.

Human Food

Life has been so busy that I haven't had the time... literally to stop and reflect.  I will not let that happen ANYMORE!  Once Benny turned one, he was introduced to "human foods".  That's what Tyler and I call food that doesn't come in a jar or comes mushed up.   Well, once he started eating human food, our lives changed forever.  In a bad way... we became consumed with helping Ben's body get used to the new foods he was eating.  We are still at a constant battle with this issue and probably won't be able to fully help Ben until he can communicate with us and we can communicate with him.

I think we have it under control now.  I did not say that it is all better though.  We just have it under control.

On top of everything we had to help Ben with this summer, I was pregnant with a sweet little boy.  On top of chasing after a little toddler, I was growing another little amazing baby in my body.  I felt so great.  Once again, I had a healthy pregnancy.  I knew all along that the baby was a boy.

My goal is to blog everyday until I am caught up from the summer.  As I try to catch up, I will include random posts of what is happening now.  Yay!  Life has taken a different turn for me.  My new "normal" is a very busy life.  I love it so much and will document it in my blog.  Wish me luck.
