Hospital Choice

We went to visit Dublin Methodist Hospital and LOVED it.  It was so new and quiet.  We loved that you didn't have to pay for parking and deal with garages.  It is also only 15 minutes from my mom's house.  Of course, we decided to take some pics.  There seemed to be so many calming areas that someone could go while they are in labor.  I just loved it!

35 weeks

We timed out the drive from our house.  It will take us about 30 minutes to get there.  Not too bad.

April Showers Help Welcome May Benjamin

I am so lucky to have so many wonderful family and friends.  They put together the most adorable baby shower for me.  They created a nautical themed party filling the house with anchors, boats, red, blue & white candy and decor.  I was so amazed by how adorable and thoughtful everything was.  Benjamin has so many people that love him so much already.  We are just so lucky to have the support and love of our family and friends.

I am also very lucky to have such a wonderful group of teachers that I work with at school.  They all took the time from their busy schedules to attend my baby shower.  Marci, the best friend & the best coworker anyone could have, came up with the most adorable decor.

I just love all of the precious baby clothes out there now for babies!

I think we got 3 boxes of diapers from our family.  I know this will only last a couple months!  THEY say a baby uses 10 diapers a day!  WHAT?!

My mom gave us a monetary gift to go pick out the baby monitor we want.

We spent the whole day learning and laughing as the family gave us pointers on how to get through the first couple of months with baby Ben.  

Babymoon - Miami

We have had 9 great years of travel and fun just us two.... can't wait to be a family of three!

BUT... we are getting in that one last trip... Miami Babymoon!

This is where we accessed the beach.  We parked in a garage on 7th and Washington, then walked a couple streets over to this perfect spot.  I was very happy for the restrooms - baby was on the bladder during the whole trip!

I'll never forget all of the people who stare and smile at you because you have a little bun in the oven.  I understand it now.  I have always loved pregnant woman, but I have a whole new respect and awe for them now.  Everyone loves a pregnant girl.  :)  Well except for this one lady on the beach who gave me a dirty look... I have no clue what that was all about.

We had a blast.  Now we are even more excited for Benjamin to join our family.  There were so many families on vacation.  It made us want Ben to be out and playing with us already.  We already have trips planned out in our minds for our little family of three.  5 more weeks till baby is here.  The countdown has begun.
