Pho is a Vietnamese dish full of noodley and meaty goodness! My family makes the best pho (we call it ga theiw in khmer). When it comes to pho, you are really judged by the soup that you make. In order to make the best soup, one needs to slow cook, bones, beef, onions, and spices together for hours. This takes patience and skill. My grandma, mom and my uncle Junite all make the best soup. BUT the last time we had pho, JUNITE made THE BEST soup we have ever had!
I think it had something to do with all of the fresh ingredients he used. He purchased all of the meat at a local bucher's, Sherman's. He also went to a farmers market for all of the veggies! They were huge!
The final product... below are the pics of how to make pho! Tyler and I are going to make our own soup in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed that it will be good.
