Baby Daniel's 1st Com Fest

I can't believe Daniel is about to turn 8 months old! Where has the time gone? He's crawling all over the place and boy is this little guy fast! He loves sneaking up on you too. I usually set him down in the living room and not but 3 seconds later, he is right by me in the kitchen. It's crazy how much you forget about the first child. It seems like just yesterday Ben was this age and doing the same things.

Daniel just loves Ben. Ben, not so much. :) Every time Ben is playing with something, Daniel wants to join him. It is so cute watching him chase/crawl after Ben. I know they are going to grow up to be best buds. Yesterday, Ben told Danny to not play with the cords. He's either being super protective or a big ol' tattle tale. lol It's just so cool to sit back and watch them though. I'm so glad we made the choice to have two kids, back to back. I'm just so happy they have each other for the rest of their lives. It makes me a happy mommy.

Okay, so I was too caught up in the moment to snap a pic of the excitement in Ben's eyes when he saw all of the transportation vehicles in the parade. Tyler noticed him tugging at his pants just anticipating the cars, firetrucks, and tractors come down the road. I just love being able to do things to make these little guys happy.

Lucky Number 7.... months

Look at this FACE! I can't even stand this little ball of happiness! He is sitting up on his own and has started showing us his sweet little personality. He squeals SO loud when he gets frustrated! We used to think he was a super quiet little guy, but oh boy has that changed. He loves to reach for Ben's face (Ben does NOT like that, BTW) to remind him he's there. Of course, followed by a long squeal for attention from his older brother. This little Daniel is just one happy child. Tyler likes to say that his smile is, "the day maker". It really is. One smile for this handsome face could turn your day around.

I am THE luckiest girl in the world to have these sweet three guys in my life.

Benjamin's 2nd Bday

I can't believe I'm the mother of two kids, and one of which is a TWO year old! Where did time go? Ben continues to be one of the best things that have ever happened to me. He is so full of life and love. I never knew I could feel this much love for another human being. When he's sad, I'm sad. When he's happy, I think my heart could explode out of my body.

In this pic, he is enjoying an evening dinner from his favorite place, Skyline! He decided that the dump trucks needed to work over time tonight, delivering more cheese into his mouth!

What a difference a year makes. He was all about blowing out the candles on this cake. Last year, he didn't even know what to do when it was presented to him.

It looks like Ben had a lot of the cake. Truthfully, most of it made it into my belly! Ha!

I can't wait to see what the next year brings. We have loved every minute of his 2nd year of life!

I'm really going to miss this sight. I took a couple final pictures of Benjamin drinking milk from a bottle. We started to transition him away from a bottle about a month before Daniel was born. It was pretty successful. He used to have about 4-5 bottles a day and we were able to cut it down to 1 bottle by the time he was 16 months old. Unfortunately, we had to keep him on one bottle to help him take his meds. We are finally sneaking meds into his juice throughout the day. As of yesterday, he's COMPLETELY done with bottles. My 22 month old is such a big boy, only using sippie cups. Everything is happening TOO FAST.

Look at how adorable he is all snuggled up in his favorite spot in the house. He loves sitting in our bed with the blanket tucked up under his arms.

I will miss this so much. Ben likes to take little bits of his hair between his fingers while he's drinking his bottle. He just pulls his hair and lets go, over and over again. I hope there's something else that makes him as comfy as having a bottle so I can see this sweet side of him again. TOO FAST.

What? My little baby is growing up so fast! He's holding up his head on his own and does a great job with tummy time. He used to scream every time we laid him down, but now he smiles and rolls onto his side. I can't even stand how adorable he is right now. He has started babbling mamama babababa. It is so adorable. One morning, I swear I heard him say momma.

Look at this little Steelers fan. Don't you just love his sweet face? He loves trying to sit on his own. It looks more like he's pill bug, hunched over and super flexible. He starts upright, then leans forward and stays there for a couple seconds. Finally, he tips over on his side and kind of stays all rolley polley with a confused look on his face. Everything is happening TOO FAST with Daniel.
